We've got an acute case of rocket fever up here in Charlotte given the fact that crops have been in the field and we haven't been able to launch since Freedom Weekend.

Can NAR members fly this coming weekend since its an ICMB research weekend?

You must be a Tripoli member to fly *any motor* at a research launch. You can join Tripoli on the field. NAR insurance doesn't cover research launches as they are not in accordance with the NAR safety codes. Tripoli insurance doesn't cover launches violating the TRA Research safety code which requires you to be a Tripoli member. An incident at the launch would not be insured

Additionally, go to page 3 of the news and read the details of the Research Safety Code. Basically, TRA members 18 years of age and older may fly commercial motors up to their certification level, and only TRA members may go past the flight line.
