Lost nosecone
I lost a burgundy 7.5" fiberglass nosecone on Saturday at the last launch (July). A yellow deployment bag and a strange white chute were also attached. I really hope it gets found. Can someone advise me on what to do next?

Re: Lost nosecone
You mentioned when we recovered the rocket that the nose descended faster than the body. There is a good chance the nose is on top of the first factory (Dana Corp) as the rocket passed directly over it. They do have roof access, ask Security or Maintenance. Their info is here, including phone: http://www.macraesbluebook.com/search/company.cfm?company=821390 I would probably just buy another cone and a new pilot chute. Yes, you will lose the funky pilot you used and the cost (not cheap) of the nose cone. If recovering in 2 pieces, you need 2 trackers. I thought it was Dana Corp but a web search showed Dana Corp to be in a different location. However, I did find that the Development Authority has dibs on the field directly to the left of where we set up the pads http://www.ocdc.com/property_search/site_detail.php?recordID=11

That sucks about the Development Authority. Hopefully, they won't start on anything anytime soon!
